The new sight appeared in Rhode Island. The first and the oldest shopping center in the country the Arcade providence that was built in 1828 has been successfully transformed into modern budget apartments.
At the beginning of the 20th century the commercial areas of the Arcade were not entirely rented and
it was decided to close. The Northeast Collaborative Architects company invested 7 million dollars and reorientated shopping center into a hotel. Now here are 48 comfortable low-cost micro-lofts on two floors. Each apartment has a kitchen, bathroom with shower, built-in beds, seating and storage. Guests can eat at restaurants or visit shops on the ground floor.
If you had a dream to live in shopping mall when you were a child you can easily perform it for only $550 per month.
